Stephen Rose

Stephen is a chartered accountant with nearly 30 years’ experience in financial services. Stephen has worked in senior finance and change roles in banking, insurance, and asset finance, both in regulated public companies and for a private family group. Stephen has been an approved Board director in the UK, continental Europe, Australia and North America.

Chief Financial Officer

Rachelle Frewer

Rachelle has over 20 years’ of financial sector experience gained in UK, Europe and Asia, in roles in finance, treasury, corporate affairs and risk in global financial institutions including Standard Chartered Bank and HSBC. Most recently Rachelle was Deputy CFO at C. Hoare & Co and prior to that was Finance Director for the Commercial Division at Close Brothers. Rachelle qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG.

Managing Director - Working Capital Solutions

Ian R Flaxman

Ian joined Wyelands in 2018 and has over 25-years’ experience working in business lending. His previous roles include leadership positions with National Australia Group, Credit Agricole, Aldermore and HSBC.

Ian has a broad range of experience in structuring working capital solutions for a wide range of business sizes and industry sectors. He has also had overall responsibility for specialist lending functions including credit, risk and portfolio management.

IT Director

Danette Copestake

Danette joined Wyelands Bank as IT Director in December 2020. A customer and people focused leader, she brings more than 20 years’ of change management and delivery experience to the role, having worked at Bibby Financial Services, ABN AMRO, Commerzbank and DXC. Her passion is emerging technologies and agile ways of working. Danette’s mission is to lead the bank’s digitisation and technology strategy to enhance their customer proposition, deliver growth and build the Wyeland’s Bank brand reputation through innovation and change.

Managing Director – Customer Solutions

Jodi Cartwright

Jodi has over 20 years of financial services experience and has a particular depth of expertise in the insurance sector. She spent a large part of her career at Aviva in senior roles spanning, underwriting, marketing, and business development. Following Aviva, Jodi moved to the insurance broking side, and her most recent experience has been in the start-up world. Jodi was CEO of an insurance technology start-up business that built a digital insurance solution for SME's.
